Ways to Participate

The following summarizes the types of ways you can provide input into the process. Sign up for notifications or check this page for more details.

  • Education Sessions: The Township will host educational sessions about zoning and what it can (and cannot) do.

  • Public Workshops & Meetings: These interactive sessions will explore design ideas and provide a venue for feedback on proposed changes.

  • Online Surveys: All residents will have the chance to participate in online surveys.

  • Walking Tours: We will host guided tours of specific areas in the Township to assess current conditions and discuss future possibilities.

Additional engagement opportunities will be developed as the process continues. If you have additional questions, please contact us (info@HaverfordZoning.com) or reach out to your commissioner

Haverford Township will ensure that this rewrite is part of a community conversation. While the reality is that the zoning ordinance itself is a long, detailed and technical document, the values behind it come from all of us. What kinds of places do we want to live? How should our neighborhoods feel? How will our business districts grow thoughtfully?

The project has been designed with opportunities to learn about zoning and highlight priorities that matter most to residents and businesses. Your insights can help shape the vision and guide decision-making as the ordinance is revised. If you wish to be notified about upcoming events and ways to participate, please sign up for project updates at the bottom of this page.
