The goal of Phase 2 is to identify and adopt substantive changes needed to the Zoning Ordinance that can help advance the recommendations of Haverford Township Comprehensive Plan. There are several ways to participate:
Phase 2 Zoning Survey
What should have Haverford look like in the future? Share your likes, dislikes, and priorities for mixed use and commercial areas in your neighborhood! Tell us your concerns on supplemental standards for signs, parking, landscaping, etc. Help shape the future of Haverford!
Zoning District Tours
Saturday, November 14
We will be conducting zoning district tours along 3 key corridors to view current conditions in key mixed use and commercial areas:
West Chester Pike at 9:00 a.m.
Eagle Road at 12:00 p.m.
Haverford Road at 3:00 p.m.
For safety reasons, space on each tour is limited and registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. There will be wait list available for each tour; wait-listed registrants will be notified of availability via email prior to the walking tours. To provide ample opportunity for all who would like to participate, please only register for one tour.
Transportation to/from each location will not be provided. Meet-up locations will be sent to registered participants prior to November 14.
If you cannot participate on one of the project-led walking tours, conduct your own! Materials from the walking tours will be available on the project website after November 14 - submit your comments via info@haverfordzoning.com!

Learn about key findings from technical analyses and information on zoning tools that could be implemented to advance the Township’s Comprehensive Plan
Provide feedback and ideas for new land uses and how best to implement mixed use zoning and commercial zone updates.
Drop in any time between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to view display boards and speak to Township and project team representatives.
